The largest licensed gambling companies in Ukraine have united into the Association of Ukrainian Gambling Operators.
The association will also include providers, developers, payment processors and public organizations.
The main goal is to reboot the gambling industry and form transparent rules for the market.
The priority of the association, which unites white (legal) market operators, is honest and transparent business, blocking Russian illegal online casinos in Ukraine, and launching new standards for the gambling industry together with the state agency “PlayCity”.
"The industry needs a rethink, a complete reboot and completely new approaches to running this business."
The Association becomes the single voice of legal business in the country and on the international arena.
The initiators of the association hope that the joint efforts of market participants and new regulators – the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine (Mintsyfra) and the PlayCity agency – will gradually restore the lost public trust in the industry.
